Skin picking disease

Erkrankung, bei der bewusst Unreinheiten der Haut durch Kratzen, Zwicken oder ähnlichen Manipulationen versucht werden zu bereinigen.

Nach dem “Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders (DSM-5)” gehört die Acne excoriée zu den Zwangsstörungen (obsessiv-compulsive disorders) und nicht, wie zuvor, zu den Impulsstörungen.

 

Deutlich mehr Frauen betroffen.

Kratzexkoriierte Papeln.

Meist tritt eine Besserung nur noch Psychotherapie ein.
