Inclusion body urethritis, urethritis type Waelsch
Urethra infection transmitted only during sexual intercourse. The pathogen is Chlamydia trachomatis.
Urogenital infection with Chlamydia trachomatis accounts for about 60% of all non-specific urethritis.
After an incubation period of 4 days - 1 month a glassy to purulent discharge appears. There are both asymptomatic forms (often in women) and patients who report severe pain when urinating.
