A very common benign tumour.

  • More frequent with age.
  • Women = Men 
  • Hyperkeratotic type
  • Acanthotic type
  • Reticular/adenoid type
  • Clonal Type
  • Melanoacanthoma
  • Unknown.
  • Probably a family predisposition.
  • Especially on the trunk localized, partly pruritic, sharply defined, oval brownish-blackish-reddish plaques with dislocated surface.

  • The horn beads are characteristic of the reflected-light microscope.

    • In a few cases the diagnosis cannot be clinically confirmed

Exophytic papillomatous proliferation without signs of malignancy.

None possible.

If the patient wishes cryotherapy, shave excision or other methods.
