Autoimmune disease (pseudoscleroderma syndrome) caused by contaminated (acetanilide) edible oil, which appeared in Spain in 1981.

Pseudoscleroderma, contractures

Myalgias

Eosinophilia (serological)

Encephalopathy

Clinical

Differential blood count (eosinophilia)

ANA titre ( elevated in approx. 50%)

Avoid the trigger

If necessary, PUVA therapy
