Definition

Occurrence of palmoplantar hyperkeratotic erythema on exposure to cold.

Clinical features

Hyperkeratotic erythema palmoplantar. In some cases, the lower extremity may also be affected.

Diagnosis

Anamnesis

Clinical.

Genetic testing is not indicated because the mutation has not yet been identified with certainty.

Therapy

Keratolysis.

Nourishing re-lubrication.
