Infantile acrolocalised papulovesicular syndrome

Crosti-Gianotti syndrome.
Viral exanthema of infancy.
Mostly girls are affected.
- Pathogen
- EBV, Coxsackie A16, Parainfluenza B, ECHO viruses
- A possible infectious allergic component is discussed
- Acute erythematous to pinkish, succulent, partly pruritic, partly confluent papules and papulovesicles
- Good general condition
V.a. on extremities, cheeks, buttocks and palmoplantar.
- Symptomatic therapy
- Lotio alba several times a day
- Undecylenic acid lotion
- Administration: 2-3x daily
- KI: acute erythroderma, inflammatory processes, eye, mucous membrane, children <12 y. (note from own experience also no problem with small children), breastfeeding (note: likewise)
- Emollientia with urea
- Administration: 2-3x daily
